Employment Assessments – Jump Starting the Personal Development ProcessWe put your profile information to work beyond just the hiring process. There is no need to waste all that valuable information you’ve generated in selecting a candidate. One month to 90 days after you hire a candidate we will meet in a telephone conference with both the newly hired employee and their supervisor or manager and “debrief” the profile. The debrief session is used to raise issues that appeared in the profile that have shown up in the actual performance of the employee. In this process we turn the profile into a tool for jump-starting the employee coaching and development process. We raise issues by leading the employee through a gentle process of self-evaluation using the data in the profile to guide us. We ask the manager to participate and share his or her point of view around the issues. We then surface other issues that do not appear in the profile, but may be of concern for both the employee and the manager. We provide processes for improvement, personal development and solutions for specific problems as we go through the debrief. All of this occurs within a one to one and a half hour session. Many supervisors and managers do not have the motivation, skill, or preparation
time to do this on their own. However, they are capable of following up
once the issues have been surfaced and agreements have been made for future
